Dave, thanks for posting this link to my grandfather's images. He was an exceptional photographer and took thousands of pictures of Cincinnati during his 75 years.
I would be interested in learning which of these black & white photos are favorites as I wish to (time permitting) produce a book with a representative sample. Most of these pictures on Flickr include location data to determine where the picture was taken (if it's not already obvious).
Nelson Ronsheim was also, interestingly enough, closely involved with the Kenner Toy Company and did much of the artwork for their packaging and literature during the 1940's through 60's.
Great post, Dave! Thanks for bringing them to attention.
@MGSmith,
Thanks so much for posting them! These picturs are a real treasure.
I actually started marking the photos as favorites in Flickr but had too stop because there were just too many good ones.
Thanks again!
Wow, some real gems in there.
these are so so cool! i spent a couple hours looking through all of them one night!
so you found my blog :) yeah, apparently that show is not really a big deal, but it's still neat! I'm excited :) Hopefully I'll get to see pictures!
Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, etc :) Hope you had a good one!
